Good Morning All:

I would like to invite all Flotilla 14-1 members to the upcoming USCG Open House at Fernandina Beach City Marina on 20 May 2023 from 1000 to 1500.  This event will coincide with the kickoff of National Safe Boating Week.  This is a great partnership between the Active-Duty and the USCG Auxiliary,

The Flotilla was asked to participate with a PA booth that will need to be manned.  We will also act as ushers for the general public to get them to and from the dock where there will be open houseboat tours.  We were also asked to help with a cooling tent to help pass out water and maybe have a few fans to ensure everyone stays comfortable during this event.

Again, I am asking you to try and participate in this event with the Active-Duty.  This will be a fantastic event for all of us involved and will help us get back into the community as we were a few years ago.

There will be 2 time slots, from 0900 to 1230 and from 1230 to 1600.

Uniform of the day will be ODUs or Alternative Working Uniform (AWU)
