Flotilla 14-1 Staff meets monthly to conduct Flotilla Staff business and plan events.

The 2025 Right Whale Festival will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 and Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Main Beach Park in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The Right Whale Festival brings together non-profit organizations, artists, musicians, authors, marine mammal scientists, as well as state and federal agencies with the common goal to raise awareness for this critically endangered species and promote ways to protect them from extinction.
Festival Hours
Saturday, November 1, 2025 10am-6pm and
Sunday, November 2, 2025 10am-3pm
Need volunteers to man the PA Booth as follows:
Time Slots
All Day – 0845 - 1800
Setup/1st Shift - 0845 - 1200
2nd Shift - 1200 - 1500
3rd Shift - 1500 - 1800
Sunday
1st Shift - All Day – 1000 - 1500
2nd Shift - 1000 - 1230
3rd Shift 1230 – 1500 and Tear Down
The uniform is ODUs/AWU with boots and we will be manning a booth. Four persons per time slot.

The upcoming Memorial Wall Ceremony is scheduled for November 1st at 10 am. Location - Aids to Navigation Team, 1320 4th Ave N. Jacksonville Beach, FL, 32250.
There are 13 name that will be engraved on the wall this year and Flotilla 14-1 has 5 members who have crossed the bar over the past 2 years.
We need ushers to help families and friends during the Ceremony.

General Flotilla Meeting will be held at the Amelia Island Lighthouse.
Boat America is a core U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary boating safety education course, aimed at You - the recreational boater - who wants the basic boating education that qualifies you for your state’s Boater Education Card. This course, also, will prepare you to take our more advanced boating education courses.
Flotilla 14-1 is offering this acclaimed course as an in-person class at the historic Amelia Island Lighthouse.
Course Fee: $29.99 per student (includes book and test fee); $50 per family of 4 (includes 2 books and 4 tests)
