Boat America is a core U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary boating safety education course, aimed at You - the recreational boater - who wants the basic boating education that qualifies you for your state’s Boater Education Card. This course, also, will prepare you to take our more advanced boating education courses.
Flotilla 14-1 is offering this acclaimed course as an in-person class at the historic Amelia Island Lighthouse.
Course Fee: $29.99 per student (includes book and test fee); $50 per family of 4 (includes 2 books and 4 tests)

Then, just pass the included final exam for your Florida or Georgia Boater Education Card!

General Flotilla Meeting will be held at the Amelia Island Lighthouse.
The 2026 Right Whale Festival will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 and Sunday, November 8, 2026 at Main Beach Park in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The Right Whale Festival brings together non-profit organizations, artists, musicians, authors, marine mammal scientists, as well as state and federal agencies with the common goal to raise awareness for this critically endangered species and promote ways to protect them from extinction.

REQUESTED ATTIRE – TROPICAL BLUES, BLUE BLAZER, OR EQUIVALENT
The 2027 Division Change of Watch will be held at the Adam W. Herbert University Center located at UNF on Friday, January 8th, 2027, starting at 5:00 PM. It will begin with a Social Hour to include a Cash Bar and Vegetable Crudite Hors de’ oeuvres. The Social Hour will be followed by a buffet dinner as follows:
Entrée – either Herb Crusted Chicken Breast or Garden Ravioli (Vegetarian)
Classic Caesar Salad
Sauteed Vegetable Blend
Roasted Rosemary Mashed Potatoes
Dinner Rolls
Iced Tea, Iced Water, Coffee
Apple Crisp Dessert
The charge for the dinner will be $41.00 if paid by credit card. You are encouraged to bring a guest. Please respond by 12/16/26 so we can plan accordingly for seating.
